Congrats to the Redwood Region Teams
Representing California at the 2010 World Finals!
Rincon Valley Middle School, Gift of Flight, Division I (4th & 5th graders in the 3rd-5th age group), coached by Maria Rogachev, Denyse Caven, & Paula Netherda placed 7th out of 50 teams!
Rincon Valley Middle School, Column Structure, Divison II (7th & 8th graders in the 6th-8th age group), coached by Kate Han & John Nhan, placed 7th out of 54 teams!
Fun fact: the RVMS team held 820 lbs. (4th highest in their division) with their 18 gram balsa structure.
Santa Rosa High School, Discovered Treasures, Division III (9th graders in the 9th-12th age group) coached by Dorothy Fast, Chris Bertozzi, & Perri Haughtworth placed 16th out of 48 teams!
