It's back - the Redwood Region's Spontaneous Workshop, aka Spont Day!

Join us for some creative, on-the-spot fun that will showcase amazing brain power and fantastic problem-solving, courtesy of the astounding Odyssey teams in the Redwood Region.

 This workshop is designed to provide coaches and teams a behind the scenes look at the "secret"(sshhhh!) world of Spontaneous. Teams will go through several spont problems, coaches will learn about team problem-solving styles, and everyone will receive feedback from actual spontaneous judges. Coaches will receive copies of all the day's Spont problems, their team's scoresheets, and lots of other spont problems.

This is the 4th  Redwood Regional Spont Day of the millenium. Last year, this workshop literally filled up in less than 24 hours after the registration email was sent out to prorgam coordinators.

So, clear the date and be ready to pounce

when registration is officially opened up (usually early January).

Date: Saturday, January 29th

Time: Morning session: team check-in 8:30, workshop 9-12    

  Afternoon session: team check-in 12:45, workshop 1-4.

 Please note: It is possible that a session may run slightly longer than the scheduled times...plan to be flexible. Please pass this info on to your team parents!

In additon to its coach, each team needs to provide an additonal adult to participate in this workshop.

Workshop Fee: $25 per team.
