A school or organization needs a membership from the National Odyssey of the Mind organization:

A membership entitles one team in each division, for each problem. So you only need additional memberships if your organization wants to have more than one team, in the same problem and division as an existing team.

Creative Competitions, Inc. – Odyssey of the Mind (Membership)

The Odyssey of the Mind membership which you purchase through Creative Competitions Inc. allows you to enter one team per problem per division in competition.  A member may be a school, a recognized community group, or a college or university. The World Membership fee is $135.  Each additional membership for the same school or community group is discounted to $100 each.  The check is written payable to CCI.

California Odyssey of the Mind (Membership)

Once you have purchased a membership you will be assigned a membership number.   You will then be invoiced from the California Odyssey of the Mind by e-mail (if address is provided) for $65 per membership.  The check will be made payable to California Odyssey of the Mind and mailed to the treasurer.  This membership fee from the California program is to cover costs in putting on the State tournament.  The state tournament is comprised of the top two teams from each problem and division from each region in the state of California.

Redwood Region Odyssey of the Mind (Team)

While those two fees are for Membership, the regional fee is Per Team.  It covers the cost of the tournament. You will be invoiced by email. The fee per team is $55. Primary teams (Grades K-2) pay a $45 fee.  After 1/15/2011 then the fee is $100.
